Delhi Traffic Challan FAQs
How can I check my Delhi traffic challan online?
Enter your vehicle number on echallan.parivahan.gov.in or the Delhi Traffic Police website. Challans sent to court can be checked on vcourts.gov.in.
Can I get my Delhi challan amount reduced?
Compoundable challans pending in court can be settled in Lok Adalat or other special courts, where the bench may fix a lower amount. Reduction is not guaranteed.
What happens if I ignore a Delhi traffic challan?
It can be sent to Virtual Court and then a regular court, leading to summons, and may block Parivahan services such as RC transfer.
I received a challan for a vehicle I sold. What should I do?
Keep proof of sale (Form 29/30, sale letter) and contest the challan. An advocate can help you present it.
